Title	Customer Education Specialist

We have an immediate opportunity for a Customer Education and Applications Specialist in our residential systems group. The educational aspect of this position will focus on our HomeWorks, RadioRA, Grafik Eye, and shading products. In this highly visible role you will be conducting the trainings and constantly optimizing the overall training materials and programs. Additionally, you will serve as a conduit for information between our customers and the engineering development team. Successful candidates for this position enjoy working with customers, making presentations, and have a technical aptitude. Customer training is often the first experience installers have with residential systems’ products, and as such, it is imperative that our training programs continue to be world class to ensure Lutron products remain the preferred lighting control brand in the industry. Responsibilities	Develop and execute training programs in accordance with Residential Systems directives, continually maintain and enhance the training curriculum, work to ensure customer product and software expectations are being met, present information to the customers so that they understand the value of lighting controls for their projects, the value of Lutron as a partner, and how to design, install and program Lutron products appropriate to their markets
Qualifications	Technical aptitude and experience in the lighting control and/or custom installation industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and presentation skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization AV/Integration experience preferred and lighting controls experience a big plus! Must be willing to travel up to 50%
